ChatGPT can generate fake receipts and certificates when asked \'just for fun\'

ChatGPT blocks requests that openly show criminal intent, but a test found it can still be misused to generate plausible fake images and supporting documents when users change how they describe their purpose. TechRadar reported that adding phrases such as “just for fun” or framing requests as fictional altered the system’s response. The outlet said the model produced items including a cafe receipt and an award certificate, while refusing requests tied to expense fraud, forged IDs or false product listings.

Coocon and NICE Information Service to cooperate on information service distribution and new data businesses

Coocon said on Monday it signed a strategic agreement with NICE Information Service to expand information service distribution channels and identify new data-based businesses. The companies plan to combine Coocon’s data collection, connectivity and API distribution capabilities with NICE Information Service’s credit rating, corporate information and identity verification services. They will review supplying key NICE services through Coocon’s Coocon.net API platform and jointly develop new data products, business models and global data initiatives.

Hanwha Solutions sells U.S. venture investment fund for $84.3 million to boost liquidity

Hanwha Solutions said on Wednesday it sold a venture investment fund that invested in U.S. innovative companies for $84.3 million. The company said it will use the proceeds to supplement funds for debt repayment created by the reduction in its rights issue and to bring forward plans to improve its financial structure. It also said it will quickly push ahead with 300 billion won of investor asset monetisation presented during the rights issue revision process.
