National AI strategy panel urges investment in Navy, Marine Corps AX hubs
South Korea\'s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy Committee said its standing vice chair Lim Moon-young held a senior-level meeting at the Navy Operations Command to speed AI transformation for the Navy and Marine Corps. Lim urged building cooperation between military and private-sector AI experts around AX hubs and creating a maritime test site dedicated to unmanned systems. The committee said it will focus government capabilities on AX hubs to support AI-based advanced combat power.
