Park Jong-hyun (박종현), an official in the Broadcasting Media and Communications Commission spokesperson’s office, built an AI-assisted news monitoring system using AI coding. He said the only cost was a 30,000 won Claude subscription. The web app links to the Naver News API, collects articles and generates AI summaries for reports, cutting a task that took up to an hour to under 5 minutes.
