Netflix to train audio description specialists for visually impaired for second year running
Netflix said on Sunday it will run an audio description (AD) training programme from May in cooperation with its Korean AD production partners Pixelogic Korea and Iyuno Korea. This year it adds an AD narrator track alongside its existing reviewer training course and will select up to six people. The six-week programme includes voice training, narration practice and recording. It will also hold a mentoring talk concert on April 17 for about 100 people at the National School for the Blind in Seoul.
