S Korea parliament passes bill scrapping pre-feasibility study for state R&D projects
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said parliament passed amendments to the National Finance Act and the Framework Act on Science and Technology to abolish pre-feasibility studies for national R&D projects and shift to a tailored investment and management system. Large state R&D projects of 50 billion won or more will be excluded from the pre-feasibility requirement. A new advance-check system will apply to R&D projects of 100 billion won or more.
