Hanwha Semitec showcases advanced packaging lineup at Semicon Taiwan
Hanwha Semitec will take part in Semicon Taiwan 2026 at the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei and introduce four advanced packaging tools, the company said on Tuesday. It will exhibit the SFM5 Square fan-out panel-level packaging tool, the SFM5 Expert 3D TC bonder, the SFM5 TnR 2.5D CoW bonder and the SHB2 Nano hybrid bonder. The SFM5 Square will be shown as a physical unit for the first time.

Computex Taiwan is no longer a PC festival as AI permeates everything
A visit to the Computex 2026 show in Taipei suggests the event is shifting from a PC hardware showcase to an AI-focused exhibition. Nvidia highlighted AI-optimised devices such as RTX Spark and DGX Station, pushing large-memory systems aimed at running big models locally. Taiwan supply-chain firms showcased work on AI server racks, cooling and high-voltage direct current power distribution. The AI push also extends to robotics, autonomy and factory automation, while cost and profitability concerns remain.

Synology unveils new products from NAS to AI agents at Computex 2026
Synology took part in Computex 2026 in Taipei from June 2 to 5, rolling out new products spanning data storage, protection and AI solutions. It showcased XS+/XS and FS enterprise storage, the PAS7700 active-active all-flash NVMe system and the GS3400 scalable object and file storage. Synology also introduced Synology Tiering and new data reduction features, and unveiled AI solutions including a DSM Agent. It added platform support in data protection and expanded its cameras and home lineup.
