Hecto Financial sets quarterly record, first standalone operating profit above 10 billion won
Hecto Financial posted its best-ever quarterly results, helped by growth in its simple cash payment service. The company said first-quarter consolidated revenue rose 25.0 percent from a year earlier to 57.5 billion won, while operating profit jumped 149.8 percent to 9.1 billion won. On a standalone basis, revenue increased 25.1 percent to 51.2 billion won and operating profit rose 129.3 percent to 10.1 billion won, topping 10 billion won for the first time.
