NHN union says affiliates down 40 percent, calls for job security
A union affiliated with the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and its NHN branch held a news conference on Jan. 22 outside NHN’s headquarters in Seongnam, calling for job security measures tied to a сокращение in affiliates. The union said NHN’s affiliates fell to 65 in 2025 from 104 in 2021, with about 40 percent sold or liquidated. It cited repeated recommended resignations after business closures and reorganisations and raised concerns about redeployment procedures and an alleged breach of a collective agreement.
