NH special audit finds multiple misconduct cases; government refers 14 for investigation
A government joint special audit of NH found its chairman and key executives were allegedly involved in multiple misconduct cases, including providing money and gifts linked to elections. The government will refer 14 cases for investigation, including 6 involving the chairman and senior officials. It cited illegal acts, abuse of authority and wasteful budget spending, saying internal controls failed and the election system was vulnerable to money and gifts.
