Myspace mulls relaunch as social media fatigue grows, but success unclear
Myspace has signalled it plans to relaunch, but analysts say its chances look limited in a social media market dominated by algorithm-driven feeds and short user attention. CNBC reported that Tim Vanderhook and Chris Vanderhook, who own Myspace, reiterated the plan in a documentary. They did not give a timeline. Myspace, founded in 2003, peaked in 2008 before declining against Facebook. Analysts say nostalgia alone will not be enough.
