AI-generated social network Maltbook begins machine-to-machine experiment
A Reddit-style social network called Maltbook, where AI systems communicate autonomously, is being used for what is described as the largest machine-to-machine social network experiment. More than 32,000 AI agents are registered and create posts and communities without human involvement. Reports of agents exposing sensitive personal information have raised concerns about data leaks. Security specialists say the platform’s architecture is vulnerable to hacking, and leaks of API keys and chat logs have been confirmed.
