Meta\'s Muse faces limits on profits from shopping fees, analysts say
Meta’s personal AI agent Muse may struggle to generate large profits from shopping transaction fees alone because the number of purchases consumers can realistically delegate is limited, an analysis said. MoffettNathanson estimated consumers make 47 payments a month on average, but only about 11 are suitable for an AI agent after excluding automatic payments, gas and in-store transactions. The firm raised the possibility Muse could evolve into a new advertising surface, and subscriptions could also generate revenue.
