NC AI to build Varco Game AI ecosystem with launch incentives, global publishing support
NC AI said on March 13 it is pursuing a strategy to build a virtuous-cycle ecosystem for game development based on its Varco Game AI service, spanning production, market validation and publishing. It plans structured support aimed at small and indie studios, including marketing support in the form of incentives for formally launched titles. Games that show meaningful results will receive deeper market testing support, with potential publishing cooperation with NC after internal review.

NCSoft targets 5 trillion won revenue by 2030 with predictable growth model
NCSoft plans to move away from an MMORPG-heavy business model and build a predictable growth model, it said. The company aims to generate cash from existing IP such as Lineage while diversifying into shooting, subculture and action RPG games and mobile casual titles. It outlined three growth pillars: upgrading legacy IP, expanding new IP through in-house development and publishing, and scaling mobile casual games using data-driven testing and live operations.

NCSoft unveils three core growth strategies, targets 5 trillion won revenue by 2030
NCSoft said it will pursue three core growth strategies to usher in an era of 5 trillion won in revenue by 2030. The company plans to strengthen legacy intellectual property including Lineage and Guild Wars 2, build a two-track pipeline of in-house development and publishing, and develop a mobile casual games ecosystem. It set a 2026 revenue target of 2.5 trillion won and aims for an ROE of at least 15 percent by 2030.
