Wemade Q2 operating loss 21 billion won narrows from year earlier
Wemade posted an operating loss in the second quarter as mobile game sales fell and a one-off revenue base effect from the previous quarter weighed on results. The company said it reduced the year-on-year loss through cost efficiency. Second-quarter revenue fell 29 percent from the previous quarter and 7 percent from a year earlier. Wemade plans to expand new game launches, including Night Crows W, to drive a performance rebound.

Wemade posts third straight quarterly operating profit, eyes new titles and China to lift profitability
Wemade said on Monday it posted first-quarter revenue of 153.3 billion won, operating profit of 8.5 billion won and net profit of 19.9 billion won, marking a third straight quarter of operating profit since the third quarter of 2025. It said revenue was led by games and boosted by licence income after a royalty dispute over The Legend of Mir 2 in China ended in settlement. Wemade also cited growing blockchain revenue and outlined plans for new game launches, a push into consoles and preparations for China releases.

Wemade Max shifts to sole CEO Son Myeon-seok, reorganises around five key studios
Wemade Max said on March 24 it will switch to a sole CEO structure under Son Myeon-seok and reorganise around five key studios. The company said the move aims to strengthen execution of its 2026 global portfolio strategy and speed decision-making on key intellectual property and strategic projects. Co-CEO Lee Gil-hyeong will remain on the board and focus on subsidiary Lightcon. Wemade Next CEO Park Jung-soo will resign, with Seong Jeong-guk appointed as successor.
