Tether launches open-source operating system for bitcoin mining
Stablecoin issuer Tether has unveiled an open-source software operating system for bitcoin mining called MiningOS, Cointelegraph reported on Monday. Tether said the move aims to improve transparency and scalability in a mining industry it described as closed and constrained by proprietary systems and tools. The modular platform is designed for users from small hobby miners to large institutions. It communicates through an integrated peer-to-peer network and lets miners adjust settings more easily.
