OpenAI acquires Convogo founding team
OpenAI is bringing in the founding team of Convogo, an AI-based leadership development platform, TechCrunch reported on Thursday. Convogo offers automated leadership assessment and feedback tools for executive coaches, consultants and HR teams. An OpenAI spokesperson said the company is hiring the team rather than acquiring Convogo’s IP or technology and will assign them to an AI cloud project. Convogo’s product will be wound down gradually. The deal is OpenAI’s ninth acquisition in the past year.
