BNB Chain-based collectibles trading platform Renaissance raises $1.5 million
Renaissance, a BNB Chain-based real-world asset liquidity infrastructure project, has raised $1.5 million in funding led by EZ Labs. Gate Ventures, Hash Global, XIN Family, Redline Labs and Mask Network took part, along with individual investors including Feist Group, Logoman, Hupi and Legit App. Renaissance is building infrastructure to offer physical collectibles on-chain and plans to use the funds to expand its storage network and strengthen integrations and AI agent infrastructure.

U.S. government transfers seized Alameda altcoins to Coinbase Prime, raising sale questions
The U.S. government has moved about $1.9 million worth of altcoins seized from Alameda Research to Coinbase Prime. Arkham Intelligence flagged the transfer, which involved five tokens including RNDR and UNI. Some market participants viewed the move as routine asset management rather than an immediate sell signal. Arkham data show U.S. government-linked wallets hold $27 billion in digital assets, mostly bitcoin, as of early May 2026.

Aave ends Avara, to phase out Family wallet and focus on DeFi
Aave Labs is ending the Avara project and will phase out its Family cryptocurrency wallet, Cointelegraph reported on Feb. 4. Aave founder Stani Kulechov said on X that Avara was no longer needed and the company would focus on bringing Aave to a wider audience. Family is an iOS-based wallet that supports storing and transferring cryptocurrencies. Cointelegraph said Aave is also strengthening a DeFi-focused strategy.
