Baek Kyung-hoon discusses science and technology cooperation with Canada\'s trade minister
Baek Kyung-hoon, South Korea\'s deputy prime minister and science minister, met Canadian Trade Minister Maninder Sidhu on March 31 to discuss ways to expand science and technology cooperation. The two sides reviewed ongoing collaboration, including joint research and personnel exchanges, based on a 2016 agreement. They also discussed plans for the fifth Joint Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation, to be held in Seoul in the second half of this year.
