Ethereum validator reward burn proposal draws backlash from Aave founder

A proposal in the Ethereum community to burn part of validator issuance rewards to curb supply growth has drawn public opposition from Aave founder Stani Kulechov. The proposal, EIP-8361, would gradually burn a portion of issuance rewards and could cut annual validator returns from about 2.862 percent to 1.476 percent. Kulechov argues the change could push individual stakers out, raise tax issues and increase institutional dominance.

Privy launches \'Fullsend\' with Jito Labs, cuts transaction latency to 50 milliseconds

Privy, a Stripe subsidiary, has launched a new transaction finality tool called Fullsend with Solana infrastructure company Jito Labs. Fullsend helps ensure transactions sent from the Privy wallet are included in Solana blocks at the fastest speed the network allows. The tool has been running internally without announcement since early this year, recording a 99.999 percent success rate across millions of transactions since January.

Altcoin rally shakes Bitcoin market share without broad-based rise

Bitcoin\'s market dominance fell to 54 percent, the lowest in a month, while the share of cryptocurrencies excluding Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins rose to 24.68 percent. The move was not explained only by Bitcoin weakness, as sentiment improved but stayed in extreme fear. Funds concentrated in projects with clear revenue and buyback or burn mechanisms, and in tokens tied to Solana activity or institutional distribution.
