Sam Altman says young workers should drop old success formulas in AI era
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said young people entering society should take on new challenges rather than follow established paths as AI rapidly reshapes work. Speaking at Stanford Graduate School of Business, he said the current labour market should be seen as a period of opportunity. Altman said many tasks done by humans will be handled by AI more cheaply and quickly. He has pushed back against claims AI adoption will immediately cause mass job collapse.
