BMCT, KISA publish first casebook on key violations of Location Information Act
South Korea\'s Broadcasting Media Communication Commission and the Korea Internet & Security Agency said on Tuesday they have published for the first time a casebook on key violations of the Location Information Act to help location information businesses strengthen compliance. The casebook compiles frequently cited violations from annual inspections into four categories, including registration changes, terms and policies, administrative and technical safeguards, and destruction of personal location information. The commission plans to distribute it at a briefing on March 4.
