Calls grow to scrap Tesla\'s $99-a-month FSD subscription and make it standard
A proposal has emerged calling on Tesla to make its Full Self-Driving (FSD) system standard on more vehicles and to abolish its $99-a-month subscription fee. The argument is that if CEO Elon Musk’s claims that FSD is far safer than human drivers are true, it should be treated as safety technology rather than a paid option. Suggested steps include wider activation on HW4 cars, adding a $500 safety charge to new vehicles and insurance incentives.
