Demand is rising for high-performance automotive system-on-chip processors used in domain controllers that handle driver assistance and cockpit functions. Socar-Kakao Mobility e-bike sharing merger talks collapse
A proposed deal between Socar and Kakao Mobility to combine their shared electric bicycle businesses has fallen through, industry sources said. Socar recently scrapped plans to sell its Elecle e-bike unit, which had been in talks with Kakao Mobility, operator of T Bike. The sale had been pursued to reduce operating cost burdens. With the deal off, Socar plans to keep Elecle but cut its operating scale and refocus resources.
