Kyochon F&B indicted over cutting cooking oil distribution margin to zero
Kyochon F&B has been indicted on charges of violating the fair trade law by unilaterally eliminating distribution margins for two partner firms supplying cooking oil used to fry chicken, industry sources said. Prosecutors allege the company cut the margin per can from 1,350 won to 0 won between May and December 2021. An investigation found the partners suffered about 700 million won in losses.

Kyochon F&B\'s craft beer brand Moon Bear joins 2026 Hotel Fair to target B2B
Kyochon F&B, which operates Kyochon Chicken, said on Thursday that its craft beer brand Moon Bear participated in the 2026 Hotel Fair held at COEX in Seoul from Jan. 21 to 23. The company said about 150 firms joined the hospitality B2B exhibition. Moon Bear showcased five flagship products in the food and beverage section. A company official said the event helped reinforce business cooperation with hotel F&B buyers.

Toss runs FacePay coupon event with Kyochon Chicken
Viva Republica, operator of Toss, is running a Toss FacePay event with Kyochon F&B, which operates Kyochon Chicken, it said on Tuesday. The promotion runs through Feb. 4. Users can receive FacePay coupons based on the level they reach by joining the “Kyochon Mountain” climb in the Toss app. The coupons can be used when paying with FacePay at offline Kyochon Chicken stores.
