PIPC shares 2026 key personal data policies with industry
Personal Information Protection Commission Chair Song Kyung-hee shared the agency’s core 2026 personal data policies at a general meeting of the Korea Personal Information Protection Officers Association in Seoul. She set out tasks including effective sanctions, boosting protection investment, preventive checks by the public and private sectors, support and rules for AX innovation, protecting privacy in everyday life and building a global data trust network.
