Korea Artificial Intelligence Cloud Industry Association (KACI) has appointed Kim Bong-kyun (김봉균), CEO of KT Cloud, as its new chairman, selecting him at an extraordinary general meeting held in writing on April 20. KACI said it will focus on sustainable growth in the AI and cloud industry by building close cooperation with the government, reflecting industry views in policymaking and strengthening communication channels to improve regulations and find support measures. It also plans programs to help member companies grow and expand new growth engines such as AI data centres and cloud infrastructure.
