Vice science minister Gu Hyeok-chae attends 20th anniversary ceremony of Advanced Radiation Research Institute
Gu Hyeok-chae (구혁채), first vice minister at South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT, attended a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute\'s Advanced Radiation Research Institute. He praised the institute\'s work and contributions. The institute linked radiation technology to industries such as biotechnology and the environment, and contributed to public health through research and commercialisation. About 200 people attended the event, where staff received awards including a ministerial commendation.
