ServiceNow launches Action Fabric, opens platform to external AI agents
ServiceNow launched Action Fabric at its annual Knowledge 2026 event on May 13, introducing an architecture layer that opens its full platform workflows to its own and external AI agents. The layer lets outside agents connect through an MCP server to run workflows and playbooks, handle tickets, and read data and context. All actions route through an AI Control Tower for identity, permissions and audit verification. Anthropic joins as the first design partner.

ServiceNow, AWS step up links between AI Control Tower and AgentCore, support multi-agent integration
ServiceNow and Amazon Web Services expanded their partnership to include integrated AI agent governance and native development tools. ServiceNow said its AWS Marketplace revenue has topped $1 billion. The companies announced the plan at ServiceNow’s annual Knowledge 2026 event. The collaboration includes joint handling of workflows in security, IT operations and telecommunications, broader multi-agent integration under one architecture, native integration of the ServiceNow SDK with AWS Kiro, and headless support in cooperation with Anthropic.
