YouTube steps up crackdown on AI spam content, closes over 10 channels
YouTube is speeding up moves to block AI-generated spam content. It recently deleted more than 10 channels that used AI-generated characters such as cats and Jesus, Business Insider reported. A YouTube spokesperson said the platform does not allow spam, fraud and deceptive practices. A Kapwing report released in November last year said 21 percent of YouTube feeds were filled with AI-generated videos.
