Three online banks lift mid-to-low credit loan share into 30 percent range
South Korea’s three internet-only banks — Kakao Bank, K Bank and Toss Bank — raised the share of loans to mid-to-low credit borrowers to above 30 percent, keeping up competition in inclusive finance. As of the fourth quarter of 2025, all three reported outstanding balance ratios above the supervisory guidance level of 30 percent. Kakao Bank and K Bank reported ratios in the low 30s. Toss Bank posted the highest share for new lending.
