Kakao to hold \'AI Sail Summit 26\' in Busan
Kakao said on Sept. 1 its regional AI talent and company development body, Kakao AI Sail, will hold \'Kakao AI Sail Summit 26\' on Sept. 29 at the Busan Port International Exhibition and Convention Center (BPEX). The event targets about 800 founders, startup officials, students and developers. It will share Kakao Group AI transformation cases and AI technology trends at home and abroad, and support exchanges among regional AI companies and talent. It will also host an AI agent hackathon called Ralphton.

Kakao AI Sail holds regional AI entrepreneur network camp in Busan
Kakao\'s regional artificial intelligence talent and company development body, Kakao AI Sail, held an entrepreneur network camp in Busan on Aug. 21 to 22. The event brought together 40 AI and data entrepreneurs working outside the Seoul metropolitan area and 10 mentors including venture investors and experienced founders. Kakao AI Sail said it planned the event after a prior survey showed founders needed connections.

Kakao seeks applicants for second AI Rookie Camp to narrow AI education gap outside Seoul
Kakao is recruiting participants for a fully funded artificial intelligence training camp aimed at reducing the digital education gap for youths outside the Seoul capital area. The company said applications for the second cohort of its ESG programme, Kakao AI Rookie Camp, will be accepted through June 10. The camp will be held twice in August for 3 nights and 4 days at the Kakao AI Campus, selecting 100 students through document and interview screening.
