KOSDAQ launches new 30-year roadmap with segment plan, tougher delisting rules
The Korea Exchange is pushing a restructuring of the KOSDAQ market as it marks its 30th anniversary, focusing on introducing segments and tightening delisting rules to improve market trust and address undervaluation. It plans new delisting standards for low-priced shares and higher market-cap and revenue thresholds, while streamlining reviews and toughening penalties for disclosure violations. The exchange is also considering a “KOSDAQ Select” segment for top firms and closer oversight of risky companies.
