NIA begins building \'Hyper AI Network\' for industrial sites with SKT, KT participation
South Korea\'s National Information Society Agency is working with mobile operators, manufacturers and AI companies to build a Hyper AI pilot network based on 5G standalone mode and AI-RAN technology. SK Telecom and KT will lead separate consortia to build AI-based next-generation networks at industrial sites and demonstrate physical AI services using robots. The 17.2 billion won project aims to verify network performance and support commercialisation of ultra-low latency, high-capacity services.
