LG targets leisure, tourism operators with modular homes
LG Electronics has opened a permanent accommodation facility using its LG Smart Cottage modular homes in Gimje, South Korea, in partnership with a local youth entrepreneurs\' cooperative. The company said the site allows visitors to stay in the homes and tour local businesses. LG plans to expand Smart Cottage experiences in line with growth in the domestic modular construction market, targeting B2B operators in fine-stay, camping and glamping.
