Hecto Healthcare says BELF11 periodontitis study published in academic journals
Hecto Healthcare said an animal-model periodontitis study using its in-house probiotic strain Lactobacillus fermentum BELF11 was published consecutively in domestic and overseas academic journals. It said a 2025 follow-up study published in the Journal of Korean Oral Anatomy found decreases in osteoclast and immune-cell expression versus a control group. The company linked the findings to earlier results published in Oral Diseases in 2023.
