KakaoMap opens cherry blossom map service, providing blooming information for about 100 sites nationwide
Kakao has opened a “cherry blossom map” service on its location-based lifestyle platform KakaoMap, it said on Sunday. The service shows real-time blooming information for about 100 cherry blossom attractions nationwide, including Seoul Forest and the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival. Bloom status is displayed in three stages. Users can tap pins to see location details and expected blooming periods, and access the service after updating the app to version 6.17.0.
