U.S. House panel opens probe into suspected insider trading at Kalshi, Polymarket
The U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has asked the chief executives of prediction-market platforms Kalshi and Polymarket to submit internal records as it examines responses to suspected insider trading. Chair James Comer raised concerns about more than 80 bets with suspicious timing linked to a U.S. military operation involving Iran. He also cited worries that elected officials and government authorities may be profiting from nonpublic information.
