Korea Investment, Mirae Asset, NH Investment Securities begin three-way IMA race as market interest cools
The integrated investment management account (IMA) market has entered a three-way contest after NH Investment Securities joined Korea Investment Securities and Mirae Asset Securities. But early momentum has cooled as investor funds shift to the stock market. Korea Investment has reduced offering sizes, and a January sale ended below its planned limit. Closed-end products targeting around 4 percent returns can look conservative amid a strong KOSPI, while rising mandatory venture-capital investment ratios add constraints for operators.
