Naver expands Naver Map navigation to AI glasses in tie-up with Meta, Google and Samsung
Naver is expanding its Naver Map navigation service to AI glasses. The company said on Sunday it will work with Google and Samsung, and with Meta, to offer directions on AI glasses. The feature will first be available on Meta\'s Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta devices, and will later be applied to Google-Samsung \"intelligent eyewear\" due for release within the year. Naver will also add voice activation features for AI glasses.

Qualcomm\'s Snapdragon ecosystem is expanding beyond smartphones to a broad range of wearable devices, with new Galaxy products adopting Snapdragon platforms for phones, watches and intelligent eyewear. Qualcomm says personal AI is evolving into an always-on companion that sees, hears and acts in daily life. Senior Vice President Ziadh Asghar described personal AI as a new era of technology that moves with users, learns from them and works for them.

Samsung unveils Galaxy Z8 foldables, including first Fold8 Ultra
Samsung Electronics unveiled three new foldable smartphones - the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra and Flip8 - at its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in London. The company introduced a new display ratio for the Fold8 and launched its first ultra-premium foldable model. It also expanded agentic AI features across its foldables and announced new Galaxy Watch9 models and Intelligent Eyewear smart glasses. The Z8 series will roll out globally from Aug. 7.
