MOTIE to invest 250 billion won in carbon-neutral support this year
South Korea\'s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said it will 추진 a 250 billion won package of corporate participation-focused carbon-neutral support programs this year to back companies\' green transition. Key initiatives include a 170 billion won loan program for early investment with a 1.3 percent rate as of December 2025, a 25 billion won equipment investment auction program and a 10.5 billion won industrial supply-chain carbon partnership. The ministry also issued guidance materials for 16 programs and plans a joint briefing on Jan. 21.
