A revised and expanded edition of \'Highly Personal Russia\' has been published, presenting Russia’s internal logic and worldview through a Russian lens. The publisher said the book examines why people have failed to understand Russia and offers a new perspective amid a more complex international situation after the Russia-Ukraine war. Author Ilya Belyakov, a Vladivostok native based in South Korea, adds fuller discussion of the war, international conditions and Russian perceptions, while also covering Russian daily life and culture.
