ITCen CTS builds supercomputer for KAERI V-SMR development
ITCen CTS said on Monday it has completed the introduction and system build-out of a large GPU cluster platform for the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute’s project to build a supercomputer for development of a virtual reactor platform for SMRs. The project is part of the government’s Global TOP strategic research group programme and involves KAERI, KISTI and ETRI. It will be carried out in stages through 2029.

ITCEN Global says first-quarter revenue doubles, targets future finance with digital gold and stablecoin
ITCEN Global said on Thursday its first-quarter consolidated revenue totalled 3.29 trillion won, about 100 percent higher than a year earlier. It said its Web3 unit, led by Korea Gold Exchange, and its IT services business drove growth. Operating profit rose 193 percent to 99.2 billion won and net profit climbed 178 percent to 72.7 billion won. The company outlined plans for digital gold, a gold-backed wallet app and Japan-linked stablecoin research.

ITCEN Group holds \'Private Cinema Day\' to support communication among female employees
ITCEN Group held a \'Private Cinema Day\' event for female employees, it said on May 11. The group rented out an entire movie theater auditorium to create a private setting and support participants in enjoying cultural activities and communicating freely. About 90 female employees from affiliates including ITCEN Global, ITCEN CTS, ITCEN Entec and ITCEN Cloit attended. The company said the event aligns with its ESG management agenda, particularly the social pillar.
