Korea Credit Information to supply small merchant sales, purchase data to Shinhan Bank
Korea Credit Information, a credit rating firm for sole proprietors, will supply Shinhan Bank with data that can track sales and purchase flows for small merchants. The company said the dataset is based on the National Tax Service\'s Hometax and is designed to analyse both sales and purchases to identify actual business cash flow. Shinhan Bank plans to review ways to use the data, the company said.

KB Kookmin Bank offers VAT filing support service for sole proprietors
KB Kookmin Bank is launching a service to help sole proprietors check their estimated value-added tax and complete self-filing during the VAT reporting period. The service was created through a partnership with tax platform Easy Shop. Users of the KB Star Corporate Banking app can review estimated tax, automatically organise required filing materials and proceed to Hometax filing. The bank is also running an event through July 24 with CU mobile vouchers for participants.

Korea Credit Bureau launches 7-day credit rating certificate for small business corporations
Korea Credit Bureau has launched a short-term credit rating certificate for small business corporations to ease the burden of public procurement bidding. The product, called the “7-day credit rating certificate”, is offered via its Credit Note platform. It has a validity period of 7 days and costs 9,000 won to issue. The company said it is aimed at firms bidding for the first time or bidding once or twice a year.
