KB Kookmin Bank is introducing a service for sole proprietors that supports estimated value-added tax checks and self-filing during the VAT reporting period.
KB Kookmin Bank said on July 13 it will provide an estimated VAT lookup and self-filing service.
The service was created through a partnership with tax platform Easy Shop. Sole proprietors using the KB Star Corporate Banking app can check their estimated VAT in advance, automatically organise materials needed for filing and proceed with linked Hometax filing.
KB Kookmin Bank expanded its tax services for sole proprietors by adding VAT filing support, following its existing tax refund service and its earned income tax estimate comparison service.
The bank will also run an event to mark the launch through July 24. Customers who apply for the event on KB Star Corporate Banking and complete an estimated VAT lookup will receive a 3,000 won CU mobile voucher. Those who also complete self-filing will receive a 10,000 won CU mobile voucher.
A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "We will continue to introduce lifestyle-focused services that can improve convenience for sole proprietors."
