KT says Hiorder table-order service tops 200,000 units after 2 years 10 months
KT said on Monday its premium table-order service Hiorder has surpassed 200,000 tables in active use, about 2 years and 10 months after launch. The company said installations expanded quickly mainly in the restaurant industry after the service launched in May 2023 and have recently spread to non-restaurant sectors including hotels, hospitals and cruise ships. KT also introduced a buyback add-on and launched customer participation events.

KT runs \'Yiroun Store\' project to support young self-employed
KT said on Sunday it is running the \'Yiroun Store\' project jointly with its Y brand for people in their 20s and the Sajangiji (Hiorder) business growth platform for small merchants. The programme pairs young artists with young shop owners to create customised artwork for store promotions and provides integrated branding and marketing support. KT said it will recruit stores for the third group until March 13.

KT to unveil AI and infrastructure innovation blueprint at MWC26
KT said on Saturday it will participate in MWC26 in Barcelona from March 2 to 5 to present South Korea’s AI and infrastructure innovation technologies. It plans a Gwanghwamun Square-themed exhibition hall, featuring an enterprise AI operating system called Agentic Fabric and a range of agent-based solutions. KT will also showcase group services and K-culture programmes, including AR dance and an AI hanbok experience.
