Neocloud market shifts as SoftBank and Meta enter
The neocloud market for AI-focused cloud computing is shifting as major players enter. SoftBank Group and its telecom unit SoftBank plan to start a neocloud business next fiscal year, renting AI computing resources to U.S. companies. Meta is also stepping up plans to use its data centres for cloud services. Nvidia is expanding support for smaller cloud firms that lease its GPUs. Salesforce unveils Agentforce Help Agent with performance-based pricing
Salesforce on Wednesday unveiled Agentforce Help Agent, a tool designed to reduce the burden of building and operating AI agents for customer service. Built on the Agentforce 360 Platform, it uses a company’s customer response policies and business information to handle inquiries and support case management. Salesforce also highlighted a pay-per-resolution model, charging only when an AI agent resolves an issue end-to-end, and introduced the Agentforce Customer Service Portal.
