LG HelloVision says YouTube-style editing, scheduling drove Hello Life to gold button
LG HelloVision’s YouTube channel Hello Life has reached 1 million subscribers, becoming the first pay-TV operator’s channel to receive a YouTube gold button. The company credits editing and programming aligned with YouTube viewing habits, regular upload scheduling and local, neighborhood-focused cable content. It also expanded YouTube originals that can support revenue through sponsorship. LG HelloVision plans to diversify its YouTube channels, add multilingual subtitles and target 1.2 million Hello Life subscribers this year while widening AI use.
