Line Games appoints Cho Dong-hyun and Bae Young-jin as co-CEOs to boost global business competitiveness
Line Games said on Thursday it appointed Cho Dong-hyun, its current chief executive, and former chief strategy officer Bae Young-jin as co-CEOs. The company plans to step up its multi-title strategy and increase the share of PC titles in global markets, unveiling at least three new PC games this year starting with \"Ember and Blade\". In mobile, it will proceed with a China launch of \"Uncharted Waters Origin\" and a global launch of \"The War of Genesis Mobile\".

CJ OnStyle runs Hello Kitty-Jisoo pop-up store with Kream
CJ OnStyle, the commerce unit of CJ ENM, said on Jan. 15 it will run a HELLO KITTYxJISOO pop-up store with Kream through Jan. 20 at Kream’s Dosan flagship store in Seoul’s Gangnam district. The pop-up is part of a collaboration project between global character Hello Kitty and artist Jisoo. CJ OnStyle handles domestic distribution for some items, while Kream led planning and an early release of limited editions.

SKT opens preorders for ZEM Phone Pocket Peace
SK Telecom is taking online preorders for its new kids’ smartphone, the ZEM Phone Pocket Peace, through Dec 11. The LTE device, based on Samsung’s Galaxy A17, launches on Dec 12 and includes themed content, accessories and safety features via the ZEM app. Users receive learning apps for English and current affairs for six months at no cost. Early buyers through T Direct Shop can receive gift vouchers and children’s gift items.
