NHN consortium selected to lead health ministry AI smart home project

An NHN-led consortium has been selected as the lead organisation for the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s programme to support rapid commercialisation of AI application products in the smart home field, NHN said on Wednesday. The project aims to integrate AI and Internet of Things technologies into care services to provide 24-hour safety, emotional and health services. The consortium plans to build a smart home platform and conduct pilot tests for 400 households in Gyeonggi and South Jeolla.

NHN, NHN Waplat, Healthmax cooperate to build AI smart home care system

NHN, NHN Waplat and Healthmax signed an agreement to cooperate on building an artificial intelligence smart home care system, they said on Thursday. The three companies will work on the AX-Sprint project aimed at supporting “Aging in Place” under the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Integrated Care Support Act. They plan to build a platform that combines smart devices and AI to support 24-hour independent living for care recipients.
