KT joins government project to build physical AI dark factory
KT will take part as a joint research institution in a Ministry of Science and ICT project to develop solutions for designing and building AI-based dark factories. The task aims to build a 24-hour unmanned and automated factory near Jeonbuk Innovation City by applying AI across all processes. KT will develop synthetic data generation and verification systems and an integrated environment to run AI agents, and later conduct demonstrations at participating firms’ manufacturing sites.

Samsung SDS holds Industry Day for Chungcheong and Jeolla manufacturers
Samsung SDS held its \"Samsung SDS Industry Day\" on May 28 in Daejeon for manufacturing companies in the Chungcheong and Jeolla regions, sharing strategies and cases for AI transformation in manufacturing. The company has run seminars since March, starting with the public sector and later covering manufacturing, distribution, services and finance. Sessions included a manufacturing data platform, a Harim Group One ERP case, PLM innovation using AI, OT security against ransomware, 5G private network applications and use of the Brity Works collaboration solution.
